BOSTON, Mass. (Wednesday, December 14, 2011) – Major League Lacrosse (MLL) held the 2011 Supplemental draft. Each of the league’s eight teams made selections in 18 rounds (144 total picks). In the 7th Round the Ohio Machine selected Joshua Porcell 49th overall.
This transaction reunites Coach Porcell and Coach Hartzell from the Rogue staff. The two of them haven’t played together on the same team since, 2005 at Essex CC where they helped lead the Knights to the NJCAA National Championship. It will be great to see the two of them playing together for the same team again. Josh who chose not to play last season in the MLL, said that he is “grateful to have been given an opportunity to play again in the MLL and more specifically for the Ohio Machine” and says its “great to get the chance to play along side Kyle.”
